Coaching for Christian leaders who are still leading -
But quietly running on empty.
Premium coaching, mastermind, and speaking for Christian leaders who are ready to move beyond pressure, fatigue, and uncertainty into Christ-centered clarity and faithful next steps.
Name the "Wolf" that is eating your lunch.
Already know you need a real conversation? Book a Clarity Call:

You are still leading.
Still serving.
Still carrying responsibility.
But what used to feel clear now feels uncertain.
The peace you believe in is harder to live from.
And the next faithful step is not as obvious as it used to be.
This is where we slow down, go deeper, and recover the clarity, courage, and capacity to lead from a healthier place—before fatigue, fear, or frustration writes the rest of your story.

Things may look good on the outside.
But deep down, you know something is off.
Fear, failure, fatigue, and frustration are not always loud. Sometimes they quietly eat away at your clarity, peace, courage, and capacity while you keep leading, serving, and showing up.
Psalm 23 says the Lord prepares a table for us in the presence of our enemies. This guide will help you name the wolves trying to eat your lunch and begin recovering the clarity you need for your next faithful step.
What you'll get:
- The free Facing Your Inner Wolves guide (PDF)
- A short email series—one wolf per day, written personally, not a marketing sequence
- An invitation to a Clarity Call when you're ready to face the wolf head-on
No pitch. No pressure. Just a real path forward.

I spent forty-four years learning that everything I was leaning on besides God would eventually be taken away—and that what He gave me in its place was enough. Now I help other Christian leaders learn that lesson the easier way.
Sandy and I started ministry and marriage on the same day—October 16, 1982. Forty-four years later, we're still doing both. Along the way, we've planted, served, built, lost, rebuilt, raised a family, started two organizations, written, spoken, coached, and learned what it actually costs to keep leading when the noise gets loud and the resources get thin.
I've been a pastor, coach, speaker, author, and ordained minister. I've also been trained at Disney University, where I learned that operational excellence and people-development aren't opposites of spiritual leadership—they're part of how faithful leaders steward what God entrusts to them. I founded Coaching Some Inc. and Awesome Life Coaching, wrote Awakening! The Dreamer's Quest, and developed the frameworks I now use to help leaders recover clarity and take their next faithful step.
But credentials aren't why you're here.
You're here because something in you knows that pushing harder isn't working anymore. I've been there. Sandy and I have been there together. And I've spent decades learning how to help leaders like you stop, listen, recover, and lead from a healthier place—before fear, fatigue, frustration, or failure write the rest of your story.
Whether you need one honest conversation, a focused season of growth,
or a real word for your team or event—there's a way to start.

For the leader who needs a trusted guide—not another program.
When the noise is loud, the pressure is high, and the next step isn't clear, you don't need more information. You need a real conversation with someone who has carried what you're carrying. Premium 1-on-1 coaching is for Christian leaders ready to face the wolves, recover clarity, and lead from a healthier place.

For the leader ready to go deeper—alongside others, over a full year.
Some seasons require more than one-on-one. The Awesome Life Founder's Group is a 12-month, faith-anchored cohort of Christian leaders who meet, learn, pray, and build together. Real accountability. Real friendship. Real transformation. The founding cohort is limited to 10 leaders.

For the team, church, or event that needs a real word—not a polished talk.
Phil speaks at churches, leadership events, nonprofit conferences, business retreats, and pastors' gatherings on facing inner wolves, leading from peace, and taking the next faithful step. Keynotes, workshops, and full-day retreats available.

Phil will inspire you to discover your purpose and pursue your dream. He will equip you for the battles you will face along the way. Your adventure awaits!

Both. Awesome Life Coaching serves Christian leaders carrying real responsibility, whether that's a congregation, a company, a nonprofit, or a growing family business. What unites my clients isn't their title — it's that they're outwardly successful but inwardly restless, and they want to lead from a healthier place. If you're a Christian leader who is still leading but quietly running on empty, this is for you.
Pastors and spiritual directors do beautiful, essential work. What I bring is different in two ways. First, I'm trained as a coach, not just a minister — which means our work is structured around your real-life clarity, decisions, rhythms, and next steps, not only around theology or formation. Second, I've spent four decades both in ministry and business, so I understand what it costs to lead at the intersection of faith, family, payroll, and mission. Coaching with me is for the moments when you need a wise, faith-anchored guide who can sit with you in both the spiritual and the strategic.
No, and I take this question seriously. My work is rooted in Scripture and contemplative depth, not borrowed from secular frameworks and lightly Christianized. The wolves you'll name in our work — fear, failure, fatigue, frustration — come straight out of Psalm 23. The frameworks I use have been shaped by forty-four years of pastoral and biblical study, alongside real practical leadership experience. You won't get a generic coaching playbook with Scripture as decoration. You'll get a faith-anchored process that takes both Jesus and your real life seriously.
Start with the Facing Your Inner Wolves guide. It's free, takes about fifteen minutes to read, and will help you name what's quietly eating away at your clarity. After that, you'll receive a short email series — one wolf per day, written personally. If at any point you sense that a real conversation would help, book a Clarity Call. There's no pressure, no pitch, and no commitment beyond thirty honest minutes. The right next step will become clear as you walk through it.
My coaching is a premium investment, and I price it that way—because the work is deep, personal, and built for real transformation, not quick tips. I currently offer two main paths. The 90-Day Coaching Sprint focuses on 1-on-1 work at $1,500/month over a three-month commitment. The Awesome Life Founder's Group is a 12-month group coaching experience at $800/month, or $9,000 paid in full, and the first cohort is limited to 10 founding members. Which path is right depends on where you are and what you actually need, and that's exactly what the Clarity Call is for. It's a no-pressure conversation where we name what you're carrying and talk honestly about whether working together makes sense. If cost is the only thing holding you back from a conversation, don't let that be the thing that decides it.
